Evans Family on Mission in ThailandDear Friends, I trust that this short note will find you well. I want to confirm that I will be arriving back in Brisbane on the 2nd July and am planning to stay until the 2nd August. This will provide 5 Sundays where I will be available to share about our work amongst the Shan people here in North Western Thailand. I would greatly appreciate your help in organising speaking engagements whether at your local fellowship or with other interested people. I definitely do not want to restrict speaking to Sundays only but wish to get together with any interested parties during weekdays or in the evenings. If it is not appropriate for me to speak at your church then I am more than happy to share with bible study groups or any individuals. As I said in our last newsletter, my main purpose in sharing is to personally inform and challenge you with what I believe is Gods urgent call to be more involved in missions around the world. Personally, our family wish to increase our prayer support with a desire to have at least several advocates in Australia specifically facilitating prayer for the Shan people and our ministry amongst this unreached people group. We would be less than honest if we did not inform you of our need for increased financial support, however, I will not be directly asking any church or individual to fulfill this need whilst in Australia. We have experienced Gods faithfulness and amazing provision for our family many times over and also we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to those that have supported us during our time here in Thailand. Thankyou to those who have already responded re speaking engagements. I will be contacting you directly in the next few days about specific details. If anyone is able to provide me with a vehicle for the month of July or part thereof it would be greatly appreciated. I would also appreciate contact details of any interested people or churches. My time is relatively short so I do need to organise specific times prior to coming if atall possible. Thanks again for your prayers and support. Hope to catch up with many of you on my return.
